Romanova Art is pleased to support the Butterfly Children of Russia.

Romanova Art is raising money to support a group of Russian children called Butterfly Children. Like the Butterfly’s wings, these children have extremely fragile skin, caused by the rare genetic disorder, Epidermolysis bullosa (EB).

EB is defined by a group of inherited connective tissue diseases that cause blisters in the skin and mucosal membranes. It is a result of a defect in anchoring between the epidermis and dermis, resulting in friction and skin fragility. It ranges in severity from mild to lethal.

There is no cure to this painful disease. Medication is costly and not covered by insurance. Most families suffer severe financial strain.

This disorder prevents these children from being able to spend time outside and in contact with their peers. Unable to play with other kids, many choose to spend most of their time drawing or creating other forms of art.

That is why Romanova Art is committed to displaying and selling the work of these beautiful little child artists.

You can purchase one of the Butterfly Children’s original pieces of artwork, and Romanova Art will donate 100% of the proceeds directly to the families.

You can also help the Butterfly Children of Russia in the following ways.

Purchasing or leasing a piece of art from Romanova Art will result in 1% of the selling price of all sales and contracts being donated to the children and their families.

You can donate directly to the families of the Butterfly Children and Romanova Art will see to it that 100% of your generous contribution reaches a deserving family.

Artists need an audience. Help us help the Butterfly Children find theirs.
