This car belongs to Prince Charles. Displayed on red carpet, this Aston Martin DB6 was the centerpiece at the Concours of Elegance at Windsor Castle. This car was used in William and Kate’s wedding procession. It also shows HRH’s ‘Green Credentials’ as it was converted to be powered by bio-fuel.
The original painting was commissioned by the committee of the concours in September 2012. That was the first year a number of the Royal Automobiles were put on display – being It was also the first time that commoners had been allowed into this area of the Castle known as the Queens quad. 60 Cars were displayed there; some of the rarest and most expensive cars in the world from a number of the worlds top collections. Neil was the Artist in Residence for this event and have continued to be so for the ensuing shows that have featured a number of the other British Royal vehicles.
